Learning from the Heart featured in Crazy Wisdom Magazine

I am honored to have an article about my practice included in the Crazy Wisdom Journal for January - April 2012. Here is a link if you'd like to read it: Crazy Wisdom Community Journal January-April 2012.  I'm on page 63.  Thanks so much to Karen Foulke Larson for creating this opportunity for me, and to Dwight Cendrowski for taking such great pictures, both for the article and for my web site.

"Get Ready for School" DVD

I just wanted you to be aware of a great DVD by Robyn Cox, a mom and educator from New Zealand.

Please check out and share this info: an illuminating 15-minute video clip (Chapter 1) about the building blocks of learning readiness is available on It's part of a phenomenal 3-hr. DVD available from New Zealand about this topic. Building blocks must be in place BEFORE reading, writing and arithmetic can take place.

The DVD shows Brain Gym and other movements that help our kids succeed in school.  If you'd like a copy of the DVD, let me know; I have a U.S.-based source for the DVD.

New Source for Wooden Lazy 8 track

I am excited to share that I have found a new source for wooden Infinity 8  (Lazy 8) boards!  The vendor is Lou of Turnzwood2 in New Hampshire.  The Infinity 8 boards are $25 apiece plus $7 shipping.  They are made of plywood and have 3 coats of varnish.  To contact Lou for more info:

The wooden boards are so nice to have, and these are very reasonable.  There are two sides: one side has two separate circles, and the other has the 8.

I'd love feedback on the boards once you get them!
